Защитная барьерная сетка 4,0 мм из оцинкованной сварной проволоки от фабрики в Китае - надежные решения от поставщиков
Product Description
The protective barrier — also known as an explosion-proof wall, sandbag, or flood-prevention wall — is manufactured from welded gabions and geotextile fabric. It can retain sand, soil, or rocks and serves as a reusable alternative to traditional military sandbags. Thanks to its collapsible packaging, the system offers high mobility, easy installation, and straightforward recycling.
Features
Unlike conventional gabions and rock baskets, these barriers can hold not only rocks but also very fine sand and dirt. Local fill materials can be used, making them ideal for riverbanks or coastal areas where stones are limited. With the help of equipment such as excavators and forklifts, installation can be tens or even hundreds of times faster than traditional sandbags. They are also suitable for military purposes — including temporary bunkers, fortresses, and forward command posts — replacing conventional trenches and helping to reduce casualties.

Applications of Welded Gabion Barriers
Flood Protection
- Flood Prevention Barrier — From simple perimeter walls to complex base infrastructure, Shuxin products provide rapid expeditionary protection.
- Permanent or Semi-Permanent Levee — Protective barriers can serve as flood levees on a permanent or semi-permanent basis.
- Flood-Protection Retaining Wall — Filled with sand and earth, military gabion boxes can function as retaining walls against flooding.
- Coastal Area Protection Engineering — Military protective walls are increasingly used in coastal areas as protective enclosures.
- Protection of Existing Structures
- Shoreline Erosion Control
Advantages of Welded Protective Barriers
⏱️
1. Service Life
The unit consists of a wire basket made from galvanized welded mesh and rust-resistant alloys. The wire mesh is designed for a service life of at least 5 years outdoors and up to 10 years in storage conditions.
📦
2. Collapsible Design
Mesh panels are connected by round springs, allowing 360° rotation. This feature enables the panels to be folded flat, facilitating storage and saving space during transportation.
🛡️
3. Reliable Protection
Thicker mesh panels combined with reinforced geotextile form a high-strength protective wall, providing excellent strength and stability.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
What materials can be used to fill a welded gabion protective barrier?
Unlike conventional gabions, these barriers can be filled with a wide range of materials — including rocks, coarse gravel, fine sand, and even dirt. This makes them especially suitable for coastal or riverside environments where large stones may not be readily available.
How long does it take to install a protective barrier compared to traditional sandbags?
With the use of mechanical equipment such as excavators and forklifts, installation of welded gabion barriers can be tens to hundreds of times faster than manually filling and stacking traditional sandbags, significantly reducing labor time and cost.
What is the expected service life of the protective barrier?
The barrier is constructed from galvanized welded wire mesh and rust-resistant alloys. It is rated for a minimum of 5 years of outdoor use and up to 10 years when stored properly. The Galfan (zinc-5% aluminum) coating option offers even greater corrosion resistance.
Can the barriers be reused after deployment?
Yes. The collapsible, foldable design allows the mesh panels to be disassembled, folded flat, and redeployed multiple times. This makes them a highly cost-effective and environmentally friendly alternative to single-use sandbags.
What geotextile options are available, and why does it matter?
Geotextile liners are available in weights ranging from 250 g to 400 g and in colors including sand, brown, gray, and military green. The geotextile prevents fine fill material from washing out through the wire mesh, while the color options allow for camouflage or aesthetic matching in different environments.
Are these barriers suitable for military applications?
Absolutely. Welded gabion protective barriers are widely used for military purposes, including the construction of temporary bunkers, forward command posts, and fortified perimeters. They are a modern, faster-to-deploy alternative to traditional trenches and help minimize personnel casualties in conflict zones.
